Customization (Support Category)

This category held requests for journal style customization. Volunteers attempted to provide custom code to perform whatever journal style changes the user wanted.

Category History

• Customization was one of the original support categories. Its first admin was Macheide. This was announced on January 22, 2002.
• Arie was added in as a co-admin on July 28, 2002.
• Due to real-life issues restricting his online time, Macheide resigned on September 17, 2002.
• Customization was officially closed on November 26, 2002. This closing came suddenly due to a miscommunication between Support and staff, and led to the resignation of quite a few regular volunteers. The requests in Customization were eventually merged into gunk, and volunteers holding privs in cust were also transferred over to gunk.
